Looking for a shiny new Android flagship? We've rounded up all of this week's best Samsung Galaxy S24 deals into one handy page right here. Regardless of whether you're looking to trade in at a big carrier or get your hands on an unlocked device, you'll be able to easily compare all your options right here.

If you're joining us now, know that you've just missed the initial preorders phase for these devices - but fear not. Most of the best Galaxy S24 deals from last week are still up for grabs, minus the free storage upgrade that most retailers were offering alongside their promotions. That means massive trade-in rebates of up to $1,000, gift cards, and excellent options for two-in-one prepaid plans.

As an overview, all three devices feature the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, larger capacity batteries, and a new focus on AI integration features. With a number of handy new camera tricks, new dictation tools, and seven years of guaranteed software updates, the new Galaxy S24 range is definitely Samsung's most feature-packed generation of smartphones yet when it comes to software.

The devices aren't cheap, coming in at $799, $999, and $1,299 respectively for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24 Plus, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, but they are absolutely stacked with the latest tech. Luckily, this week's best Galaxy S24 deals can also cut those high price tags right down to size.

You can read more about these devices just below our deals roundup. Alternatively, head on over to our main Samsung Galaxy S24 review, Galaxy S24 Plus review, or Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra review pages for an in-depth deep dive on each device.

Samsung Galaxy S24 deals

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: $150 gift card and up to $1,000 off with a trade-in at Best Buy

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: $150 gift card and up to $1,000 off with a trade-in at Best Buy
We were big fans of Best Buy's initial preorder promotion when it was posted the other week and the good news is - it's still available post-release. That means not only can you get a healthy trade-in rebate of up to $1,000 off right now, but the retailer is also throwing in a free gift card of up to $150 in value to spend anywhere on-site. The maximum rebate here applies to carrier devices specifically but note that unlocked devices are also available at Best Buy with savings of up to $750.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: starting at $19.42/mo at Walmart

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: starting at $19.42/mo at Walmart
Walmart is offering a small monthly discount on carrier devices with its opening Galaxy S24 deals. This isn't the fanciest option out there right now when compared to other on our list but it's definitely worth considering if you're looking for a device on either AT&T or Verizon and aren't planning on trading in a device to get a discount. For example, paying for a Galaxy S24 Ultra outright on a monthly plan without a trade-in will cost $36.12/mo at AT&T, whereas Walmart's current deal is offering it for $31.92/mo over the duration of a 36-month plan.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: up to $1,000 with a trade-in, plus free tablet and Galaxy Watch at Verizon

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: up to $1,000 with a trade-in, plus free tablet and Galaxy Watch at Verizon
Verizon has preserved the majority of its Galaxy S24 deals from the initial preorders period - minus the free storage upgrade. That's pretty damn great news since not only can you get a rebate of up to $1,000 by trading in any Samsung model in any condition, but you can also throw in a free tablet and Galaxy Watch 6 worth $900 by themselves. Note, however, that you will need to pay for any extra accessory device cellular lines seperately.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: save up to $1,000 with a trade-in, plus free tablet at AT&T

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: save up to $1,000 with a trade-in, plus free tablet at AT&T
There's nothing fancy with AT&T's current lineup of Galaxy S24 deals but you can still get yourself that massive trade-in rebate of up to $1,000 off alongside an unlimited data plan. The rebate itself here is a match for the best we've seen from the carrier and it's relatively easily obtainable since you can hand over any Samsung device in any condition. AT&T is also throwing in a free Galaxy Tab A9+ too alongside the phone, although device lines are paid separately.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: up to $750 off with a trade-in, plus free case at Samsung

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: up to $750 off with a trade-in, plus free case at Samsung
Looking for a decent saving on an unlocked device? Samsung itself is a fine choice - not least because you can get yourself a decent trade-in rebate of up to $750 and a free S-View Wallet case right now. For sheer bang for the buck, it's likely you'll get a better rebate at the big carriers but this is a fine choice alongside the Best Buy option above - which also features good rebates on unlocked devices.

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: up to $650 off after 24 months at Google Fi

Samsung Galaxy S24 series: up to $650 off after 24 months at Google Fi
If you're looking to break away from the usual big carriers, Google Fi's opening Galaxy S24 deal might be a good option. This prepaid carrier will give customers a significant rebate on their device after a two-year period - $650 on the Ultra, $550 on the Plus, and $450 on the standard Galaxy S24. This one is a good deal granted you're willing to be patient but it's worth noting that it's only eligible with Fi's pricier Unlimited Plus or Flexible plan. Those on the basic Simply Unlimited plan will only be eligible for a $250 rebate.

Samsung Galaxy S24 deals: what's new?

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

(Image credit: Future / Philip Berne)
  • Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset
  • New AI features
  • Seven years of software updates

The new Samsung Galaxy S24 range feature a compelling mix of hardware and software improvements, although Samsung has specifically made more of a focus on the latter with this iteration, specifically new AI tools.

The gap between Google and Samsung devices has dramatically shortened when it comes to AI integration, with formerly exclusive Google features like generative AI wallpaper and Magic Editor now coming to Galaxy. There are also new features that aren't Samsung exclusive like a circle-to-search function, new translation tools for phone calls, and tools that just reformat the look of your text notes. More importantly, however, Samsung has committed to seven years of software updates with the Galaxy S24 range, which is even longer than Apple currently.

The new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset is really designed to super-charge these software improvements and all devices feature this beefy processor. On top of that, the standard Galaxy S24 also now features 8GB of RAM, with the Galaxy S24 Plus matching the Ultra's 12GB RAM configuration.

Outside of the mentions above, there are other notable hardware tweaks. While outwardly all devices bear a striking resemblance to their predecessors, they feature bigger batteries, brighter displays, and slightly higher resolutions in the case of the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus. The Ultra now features a titanium frame and bigger sensor for it's main camera - as well as a new 50MP telephoto that's capable of capturing more detail than ever before.

Samsung Galaxy S24 deals: what device does TechRadar recommend?

We usually recommend going for the Ultra here at TechRadar, although we're always partial to its phablet-like design and excellent cameras. It's pricey, sure, but it's worth every penny if you're a power user who really makes use of the phones capabilities on a daily basis.

More importantly, the best deals at launch tend to be focused on the more premium devices in the range. For example, the trade-in rebates of up to $1,000 applies to both the Plus and the Ultra, which makes them a no-brainer if you can hit that maximum saving. By contrast, the rebates of up to $800 on the standard Galaxy S24 don't offer quite as good value - although it's great if you're not fetching that maximum saving.
